Gents, i won't be able to be a Beacon Rock on Saturday - I'll meet everyone at Astoria and travel to Beacon Rock in the van. Here are directions to the park Beacon Rock MapHere is the information on camping: Beacon Rock Campingand overnight dock fees seem to be 50 cents/ft with a minimum of $10 and the mooring buoy fee is $10/night. I am unclear on where those fees are paid. Remember, the name of this game is flexibility and adaptability. See you at the Port of Astoria parking lot by 4pm Saturday. Andrew

Andrew, Since you appearantly are driving the van? to Astoria, I will assume you don't need me as a driver, so I will have my wife drop me and the boat off at Beacon Rock and just wait there. I probably will be feverishly finishing my boat Tent and packing, to arrive at Beacon Rock around 5 pm Saturday. Rick

Cool, Rick. Another boat person - who won't be on the trip but wanted to be involved - will be driving the van. We'll see you Saturday.

You can pay on Saturday. I've covered the cost, so anything you contribute will be appreciated.
