OK, that's it then. I am calling the first ever Columbia 150 sailboat event.

We will launch from Beacon Rock, travel about 30 miles per day, and extract at Port of Ilwaco, Washington.

Timeline for Columbia 150, August 9-15, 2009: (all mileage estimated - time to complete unknown)

• August 8 and 9: Participants stage and launch boats at Beacon Rock State Park.
• Sunday, August 9: Vehicle shuttle to Cape Disappointment (3 hours) possibly charter a bus to return.
• Monday: Beacon Rock to Lemon Island (29 miles)
• Tuesday: Lemon Island to Sand Island - Scappoose (25 miles)
• Wednesday: Sand Island to Walker Island (25 miles)
• Thursday: Walker Island to Skamokawa (26 miles)
• Friday: Skamokawa to Port of Ilwaco (29 miles)
• Saturday: ?
